Recognizing the “1.5°C target” set forth in the Paris Agreement as a critical challenge for the international community that must be achieved, the Fujifilm Group raised its CO2 emission reduction targets in December 2021.
This target aims to achieve net-zero CO2 emissions from energy use by the end of fiscal year 2040, while also reducing CO2 emissions by 50% (compared to fiscal year 2019) across the entire product lifecycle by the end of fiscal year 2030.
To achieve these goals, the Fujifilm Group has formulated the “GreenValue Climate Strategy,” a dual-pronged approach centered on low-environmental-impact production activities and the creation and promotion of products and services with superior environmental performance, and is actively advancing these initiatives.
We joined the TCFD Consortium and, starting with the Sustainability Report 2019, have been conducting analysis and disclosing information based on TCFD recommendations, issuing a TCFD Report in 2023.

The Fujifilm Group acknowledges that all of our business activities have benefited from and impacted the natural environment since our foundation. In 2024, we joined the TNFDTNFD Forum and, after registering as a TNFD Adopter, made our first TNFD disclosures in accordance with the TNFD Framework v1.0 in October 2024, and second disclosers in January 2026.
