To achieve management KPIs such as operating profit, ROIC, and CCC, the Fujifilm Group's management information analysis system has been operational since May 2022. Due to the Group’s integration of numerous companies through M&A and other strategies, the Group now operates approximately 90 different systems globally. Given this complexity, the challenge of “consolidated business management” has been to obtain the necessary consolidated data for management in a timely manner.
As part of our ongoing efforts, we have implemented systems that visualize sales, production, warehousing, and inventory information. These initiatives have enabled us to timely grasp the status of sales execution and the execution of measures throughout the supply chain. We have used this information for management and business unit analysis.
Furthermore, This system was built to enhance the analysis and data visualization functions to quickly grasp the progress of “consolidated management KPIs” including operating profit, ROIC, and CCC, and to utilize the data to solve issues at each site.
For data linkage and master code conversion, we are performing common language conversion, which includes converting data to a globally defined common item hierarchy. This enables information acquired from each company's different ERPs to be immediately shared on the cloud and utilized as consolidated management information in a common language on this system. This initiative has resulted in a complete alignment of factual perceptions across organizations, leading to a significant increase in productivity.
