FUJIFILM Holdings receives the Grand Award at the “8th Sustainable Finance Awards”

TOKYO, December 22, 2022 – FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation (President and CEO, Representative Director: Teiichi Goto) has received the Grand Award at the “8th Sustainable Finance Awards” from Research Institute for Environmental Finance for its social bond issued in Japan.

The Sustainable Finance Awards are given to companies that have contributed to the development of environmental finance and sustainable finance in Japan, with the aim of promoting and encouraging the finances to resolve environmental and other issues.

 FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation issued a 120 billion yen (approx. 1 billion USD) social bond offering in April 2022, the largest*1 social bond in the corporate bond market in Japan, for financing growth of the Company’s biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing business which contributes to fulfilling unmet medical needs and improving access to medicine across the globe.
